Ever since the dawn time, we engineered the World around us in order to better suit our needs. From the ancient Roman aqueducts to the British textile industries from the 19th century, the pace, quality and scale of the transformation of the World around has only increased over time.
Traditionalism however, in this new, post-industrial and capitalist World saw itself in a choice: either specialize itself in order to handcraft something that the industries couldn’t or, stiff up some resistance against the machines, which came in the form of Luddites.
