It is simply our duty as mothers and fathers to give Love, Joy and Strength to our children so that they can grow up to be sane and virtuous upon their own two feet.

Yet, parenting isn’t one-dimensional and although we could all agree on this broad principle, it does not tell us everything about the details of what we should do. Indeed, it does not – for example – tell us the difference between different types of parenting or different kinds of relationship such as those between mothers and daughters or, in our case… between fathers and sons.
